Sin dai loro esordi, nel 1995, si sono contraddistinti all’interno del panorama musicale italiano per il loro stile musicale che, partendo dal grunge e dall’alternative rock, ha saputo magistralmente aggiungere una forte vena di psichedelia e di shoegaze. I fratelli Alberto e Luca Ferrari, insieme a Roberta Sammarelli, hanno all’attivo otto album (“Endkadenz” ha avuto due volumi) in quasi 30 anni di carriera e l’ultima pubblicazione risale allo scorso settembre 2022 con “Volevo Magia”, uscito per Capitol Records Italy/Universal Music e vincitore del Premio come miglior disco dell’anno nei referendum di testate specializzate come Rolling Stone e Rockol.it. Un disco certamente più diretto e più asciutto, con il quale hanno registrato sold-out per quasi tutte le date e che li ha portati a esibirsi nei più importanti club italiani.
I VERDENA raggiungono senza dubbi il loro apice nella dimensione live, uno spettacolo da non perdere per vivere dal vivo questa band dall’integrità intatta che ha sempre vissuto al di là delle convenzioni, seguendo solo il proprio istinto, riluttante a qualsiasi compromesso.

Since their early days, in 1995, they stood out in the Italian musical landscape for their style which, starting from grunge and alt-rock, was able to masterfully blend into it a strong psychedelic and shoegaze influence. Brothers Alberto and Luca Ferrari, together with Roberta Sammarelli, have published eight albums (“Endkadenz” was divided into two volumes) during almost 30 years of musical career and the latest record is from September 2022, “Volevo Magia”, published by Capitol Records Italy/Universal Music and winner of the Best Record of the Year award for Rolling Stone and Rockol.it. An album that is definitely more direct and slimmed down, that led them to sold out dates in some of Italy’s most important clubs. VERDENA are definitely best when seen live, an unmissable show to truly experience this band, which has kept its integrity intact, always living beyond accepted conventions, always following its gut, without compromises.
